I am extremely good at taking what the teacher has said and putting it into terms students understand better and making up tactics for making the information stick in their brains. While I do not have any formal tutoring experience, in high school I sat down with the girls I babysat every day and helped them with their homework. Also, when studying with friends for tests, I find I am the one reexplaining things to them when they actually get it.
